I got my copy of Bill Swanson’s Unwritten Rules of Management in the mail yesterday. Business 2.0 ran it as a cover story in July and made a big deal about it (we made a deal about it too).
It is a 3-1/2″ x 6″, 74 page spiral bound book. It is all done in black and white. It is a very unassuming little book.
It makes it all that much more enjoyable when you read these pearls. This isn’t Drucker or Buckingham. It is just a CEO giving you some simple thoughts to think about.
I just wanted to make sure you all knew that you can get your own copy and it is free.
I’ll leave you with this nugget:
Unwritten Rule #6
Work for a boss
whom you can tell
it like it is.
Remember you
can’t pick your
family, but you can
pick your boss.
